A downloadable mod

Heavily inspired by Dusted's Pandemonia, and in fact, most of the code were taken straight from the mod itself lol, but was reworked in the way that behaves a bit differently from the original.

Why making this you may ask? Simple answer really, as there were attempts for this concept but most of them either had their projects completely abandoned or just wasn't good nor polished in general like Pandemonia does, not to mention there were pretty much zero beneficial reason of why you want to 100% everything on the map in a casual run other than being a completionist, and this is where I get to crack my knuckles and start going ham with it.

Shoutout to Kicked-in-Teeth for their dice sprites, as the project would've make things a bit harder without it.

[Current Features]

- Upon killing all enemies on the map or found all the secrets, you were given a dice as a reward instead of a white gem in Pandemonia.


- When rolling the dice you were expectedly given a random number, and these numbers aren't just there for doomcute detail, as there are different tiers of rewards represented by those said numbers, with 6 being the lowest and 1 being the highest, worry not much though, as chances of getting all these tiers were all equally 50/50, so getting 1 is just as possible as getting something like 5 or 6, as well as having rewards just decent enough that it doesn't feel like a complete waste of time even you got shit tier.

- However, this also means you can only carry 4 over the course of each levels.

- A little customize menu that allows very specific pickups spawn at certain tiers.

- Like the title suggests, this works with any mods that replaces either weapons, items and powerups or all of the above.

[Current Known Issues]
- Thrown dice straight up no-clips into the backrooms if the floor is consists of skybox, so be considerate where you're throwing for now.

Install instructions

Compatible with LZDoom/UZDoom, other source ports have yet to be tested.

Doom 1/2 IWAD (Or Freedoom if you cannot afford it.)

Drag the file along with any of your preferred mods into the executable of your source port.

[Recommendations]

Pistol Starter As long as you keep inventory on in the settings, dices will carried over and became what's essentially starter kits, providing little advantages, especially if the map decided to throw decent amount of monsters at the very start.
WalpurgisThe rewards you get in the og were pretty nice, but pairing with this mod makes the dices infinitely more valuable due to them giving out fuckton of disc of repulsions and flechettes like it's a charity should you get the lowest tier and if you're lucky, one of the tiers guarantees an upgrade for your arsenal depending on your settings, this also makes the mod compatible with Heretic/Hexen thanks to Walpurgis's built-in compatibly feature.

I found a bad bug.

Port was UZdoom version 1.14.3

I had loaded the mod with "Improvisation" with this one being loaded last.

Normal Doom 2 maps.

It seemed to work fine, I got them on either monster kill or secret findings, threw them and they spat out items without a problem.

Then I decided to be cheeky and threw one at an enemy thinking it may hurt one, instead it froze the game haha.

To clarify, it froze once the dice hit an actual enemy, specifically a machinegunner from vanilla enemies.

Yeessss! I have been keen on a mod like this, and this looks nicely done!

I can see some room for options to make this even more interesting.
